Congratulations to Tim, who today achieved his ambition of obtaining his full motorcycle licence by passing his Direct Access module-2 motorcycle test!
Now it’s off to the airport to fly back to Guernsey, where he’s been working since he took his mod-1!
Another double-first for Inner Circle Training, as Tan passes his Direct Access module-1 and module-2 motorcycle tests first time – on consecutive days!
Tan did his CBT with us last September, but hadn’t been back on a bike again before starting his 3.5day DAS course last Friday. With training at the test centre on Sunday, he flew through his module-1 test on Monday, passing with a clean sheet before spending the rest of the day honing his road-riding skills. This morning (Tuesday) he took his module-2 test and flew through that too!
No wonder he looks pleased as he poses with his DAS course completion certificate – now his big challenge is deciding which bike to buy!

Massive congratulations to Barrie and Al for passing their Direct Access motorcycle test (mod-2) today in the Greater Manchester sunshine!
Both Barrie and Al passed their mod-1 tests last week, first time, and this was their first time attempting mod-2, so they can both be rightly proud of their achievement.
Huge thanks are also due to Nic, who took Al through his training and both Barrie and Al through their mod-1 tests whilst Paul and Tracy were riding round in the Florida sunshine!
Well done all!
Here’s yet another success story for Inner Circle Training, as Graham took his CBT with us back in January with his wife, Lynne, and today has passed his Direct Access module-2 motorcycle test first time – to go with his module-1 first time pass from Monday!
So now Graham has a full bike licence, whilst poor Lynne is left riding on L-plates… wonder how long before she’ll be back?
Well done, Graham, we can’t wait to see what bike you choose!
In the sunshine earlier today, Sam passed his Direct Access module-2 motorcycle test to obtain his full bike licence, and I suspect that this afternoon he’ll be wandering round the local bike shops looking for his first proper bike!
It’s great news for Sam, a serving soldier who we met at the Manchester Bike Show and who took advantage of our 5% “blue light and armed forces” discount when booking his training.
Well done, Sam!
Huge congratulations once more, this time for Carl Robinson who early this morning passed his Direct Access module-2 motorcycle test first time – to go with the first time module-1 test pass just over a week ago!
His journey to this point was not without its challenges, though, as a difficult employer cancelled his holiday meaning he couldn’t take his test when it was first arranged; then he had an accident at home meaning he couldn’t take the re-arranged test!
All’s well that ends well, eh Carl!
Yet another great example of the quality of training that we deliver here at Inner Circle – as Billie will no doubt testify!
This morning he passed his Direct Access module-2 motorcycle test first time and in great style as he scored the grand total of zero faults!
What makes this slightly more remarkable than usual is that just before heading out on test he broke the rear L-plate off! He was saved by the efforts of Kevin the examiner and the office sellotape and an improvised repair. Good job it didn’t affect his concentration!
Well done, Billie, a great result and nothing less than you deserved!
Another round of congratulations are due, as Andy sailed through his DAS module-2 motorcycle test first time this morning, having just passed his module-1 on Monday, also first time!
No wonder he looks happy as he proudly shows off his Inner Circle certificate, awarded for completing one of our DAS courses by passing his motorcycle test!

Huge congratulations to Carl who passed his Direct Access module-2 motorcycle test first time this morning, recording a very impressive clean sheet with no faults!
This goes with the first time Direct Access module-1 motorcycle test pass he achieved on Monday, when he recorded just 1 minor fault for riding at 49kph on the avoidance exercise not the 50kph required! (hardly a crime, that!)
Now he has the difficult job of choosing his first motorcycle, with so much choice of bike styles and models, he’s finding it hard to decide what he wants!
Whatever he decides, we’re sure he’s going to enjoy being a biker now he has his full motorcycle licence!
